A personalized print of your name in place of the world famous Hollywood sign is sure to be an attention getter!

The landmark Hollywood sign located in Los Angles, California is actually a 50 foot tall advertisement erected in 1923. The sign read “Hollywoodland” and was meant to attract people to a new housing development near Hollywood Hills. By popular demand the sign stayed. In 1949, when the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and City of Los Angeles Parks Department took over maintenance of the sign, “land” was dropped from it leaving just “Hollywood” as we see it today.

It started as an advertisement and is now a pop culture icon that represents the film industry.
